Captain and Line Instructor on Boeing 737-800NG at YHU | 1 to 2 Months Contract

Chrono Aviation is currently hiring a captain and online instructor on the Boeing 737-800NG, with direct admission, for a 1 to 2 month contract starting on or around July 15, 2024, at YHU.

Chrono Aviation was founded in Quebec City in 2012. In its early days, the airline operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Chrono quickly attracted customers looking for a comfortable, efficient and safe flying experience.

After a decade in business, Chrono Aviation has increased its fleet to 15 aircraft and employs more than 280 people. Chrono is the only airline in Quebec to offer aircraft that can accommodate from 9 to 120 passengers exclusively for charter.   With bases in Montreal and Quebec City, Chrono Aviation continues to expand and strengthen its leadership position in the air charter industry in Quebec and Canada.

Here are the prerequisites for joining our crack team:

•              Agreeing to work from YHU

•              Be legally entitled to work in Canada and be able to obtain a crew VISA for the United States.

Qualifications:

•              Hold a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with an instrument rating

•              Hold an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), including successful completion of written examinations

•              Have a valid class 1 medical certificate

•              Valid Type Rating training for the Boeing 737-800NG required

Flying experience :

•              Total flying hours: 1000 hours as captain on type

•              Type experience: Boeing 737-800NG experience

•              Arctic flying experience (an asset)
